Robin knew she wanted to be an artist in grade school after she won an art contest. Even while holding full-time jobs, she kept playing with some form of art. As a recent Crime and Intelligence Analyst retiree, she has 24/7 to devote to her passion – Art. “It’s in my blood!” she says.
Some of the specialty art created by the Meysts are large glass on glass mosaics covered with resin, wine cork art, and pictures within a picture - black light, depression glass art.
The metal tray with the flamed mosaic became our company's logo. It symbolizes the fire within us and the passion we have for art and each other.

Atalanta (bust), the Greek Goddess of the hunt and a great athlete. She was abandoned in the forest by her father because she came into the world in the “undesirable state” of being female. She was found by a bear that adopted her. As she grew among the bears, she came to love hunting and the outdoors and had no use for a man in her life.
Athena (medium torso), the Greek Goddess of wisdom, poetry, art, and war strategy. She is the daughter of Zeus and born from his forehead, fully grown wearing battle armor. Athena was a patron of the arts and crafts. She is known most specifically for her strategic skill in warfare and is often portrayed as companion of heroes and is the patron goddess of heroic endeavor.
Aphrodite (long torso), the Greek Goddess of love and beauty. She has the ability to make men fall in love with her. Her son is Cupid. Greek art depicted the goddess as nude; she was the model for the famous sculpture Venus de Milo.

Glass mosaic art is Robin’s specialty. It is rewarding to see a vision come to life with color, the shape of the cut, the placement of glass, and finally drowning it all in resin.
Robin oftentimes donates her art. You'll find "Cousin Jack", a Cornish miner mining gold hanging at the Gold Miner's Inn in Grass Valley, California. Soon

Soon to follow will be "Cousin Jenny" and "Little Jimmy". You'll find "Eye See You", a colorful eye with long lashes hanging in Visalia's Lash Ink & Esthetix Spa.
Big art is the most rewarding. "Cousin Jack" measures 37" x 46". Her favorite size is 2' x 3'. The recipient needs to be aware of the extra weight when hanging their art. A 2' x 3' typically weighs 23 lbs.
"California Dreamin" is a 2' x 3' glass mosaic of a 1955 Woody owned by a friend. It is depicted in the picture above. Two were created, both one-of-a-kind. One was for the owner, another for a mutual friend.
"Carroll" is a 2' x 3' pinup girl housed in a friend's game room.
